Named for the soil's deep red color, the Red Top Mountain State Park hosts a variety of activities. The park is situated on the banks of Lake Allatoona. Located on the grounds are hiking trails, beach facilities and swimming areas, boat ramps and docks, tennis courts, horseback riding trails and putt-putt golf. The park also features group picnic shelters. This is one of Georgia's most visited attractions.
